What most people ask before going solar

Cost, subsidy, roof space, net metering, maintenance — the five questions that stall most decisions. Plain answers below, no sales pitch.

• System cost
• PM Surya Ghar subsidy
• Net metering

How much does a 3 kW system cost?

Am I eligible for the central subsidy?

What happens when I produce more than I use?

A 3 kW on-grid system is the most common starting point. The exact figure depends on your actual KSEB consumption — not a brochure number. Send us your bill and we size it correctly.

Most residential rooftops qualify. The subsidy is a real deduction from your installation cost — we file the application and track it so it doesn't get lost in the process.

Net metering credits surplus generation back to KSEB. No battery needed — excess units offset future bills. We handle the net meter application with KSEB directly.

• Roof space
• After installation

How much roof area do I need?

What maintenance does a solar system need?

A 3 kW system needs roughly 200 sq ft of south-facing roof. We confirm suitability during the free site visit — no guesswork before we see the actual roof.

On-grid systems need minimal upkeep — periodic panel cleaning and annual inverter checks. We offer scheduled maintenance visits across all six districts we serve.

Your KSEB bill is the only number we need

WhatsApp your latest bill and we'll come back with a sized estimate — system, subsidy, and net savings — before any site visit.
